Notre Dame football offers 2026 defensive lineman at ‘Grill and Chill’
It’s safe to say that Notre Dame football’s “Grill and Chill” recruiting event was a huge success. Plenty of prospects were on campus on Thursday, and one of them, Damari Simeon was offered a scholarship. The New Jersey native stands 6-foot, 3-inches and weighs 275-pounds clearly passed the look test for the Irish coaching staff. Simeon isn’t currently ranked at this moment, but that could be changing soon as his offer list is pretty solid with Penn State, Duke, Boston College and now Notre Dame. Most of the other recruits that attended the event already had offers, so mission accomplished for the defensive lineman. Blessed to receive my eleventh offer from The University of Notre Dame!!!@HermitsFootball @CoachWash56 @NickSebas_ @Coach_DLaws @rickymremax @CoachAlstonk @kevinquinn74 @WideoutsCoach pic.twitter.com/NcCWWcgPq4 — Damari Simeon (@Damari_Simeon) July 25, 2024 Simeon seemed extremely excited about the scholarship, as he has it pinned to his X, the website formerly known as Twitter, home page. Hopefully the offer continues to resonate with him, and he eventually wears the Blue and Gold.
