Fish and Chicken Feast Aug. 3 at Boozy Creek

Boozy Creek Community Center, 1989 Shelleys Road, Bristol, Va., (276-466-0026) will hold a Fish and Chicken Feast on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 4 p.m.

Music will be provided by Dennis Crawford and Harlan County Grass from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Cathy Baker will be giving away lots of door prizes at 4:45 p.m.

This meal includes traditional side dishes and a variety of desserts and drinks.

Also, raffle tickets will be available for a special Henry Magnum rifle.

Funds from the raffle are going into a much needed building fund. Last month the stove in the cooking area had to be replaced.

Volunteers are working hard to make this a fun time for folks to get together for a fantastic meal and wonderful entertainment.

Please express your appreciation to Terry and Kiku Harvey as they prepare to move to another state to be near their grandchildren. They have been fantastic volunteers.
