RACINE — The highly anticipated annual 4th of July parade, hosted by 4th Fest of Greater Racine, is upon us for the 88th time. Thursday morning, Main Street will be filled with floats, marching bands, performers and organizations as spectators dressed in red, white and blue crowd the sidewalks to get the best view.
Man accused of stealing car from Kwik Trip with two kids in backseat accepts plea deal
OAK CREEK, Wis. — One of the men accused of stealing a car with two young girls in the backseat from an Oak Creek Kwik Trip accepted a plea deal Wednesday. Investigators say Bedee Usama is one of three men who stole the car in February and then drove off with the children in the backseat.

Fatal Milwaukee shooting, 54th and Meinecke, woman charged
MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee woman has been criminally charged in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred Friday, June 28 near 54th and Meinecke in Milwaukee. The accused, 30-year-old Talina Weddle, walked into a Milwaukee Police District building and turned herself in. Weddle is facing one count of homicide by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon.
