Central Wisconsin Residents Face Federal Drug Charges After Large Drug Bust
MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Four Central Wisconsin residents are facing federal drug charges after a significant amount of meth and cocaine along with firearms. Wausau Pilot and Review reports that 31-year-old Joshua Lake, 28-year-old Jessica Colby, 31-year-old Mercadys Perkins, and 36-year-old Dustin Brunker are all facing charges related to drug trafficking. Lake is also facing charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Fire causes $17,000 in damages at 16th Street business
RACINE, WI — A fire that may have started by a heat gun left plugged in and on caused about $17,000 in damages at a 16th Street business. According to a press release from the Racine Fire Department, firefighters were called to the 1400 Block of 16th Street for a report of smoke and flames in a product assembly area on the third floor.
