Northern State Announces 2024 Athletics Hall of Fame Class
Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University Foundation and Wolves Athletics will honor six individuals and one team at the 2024 NSU Hall of Fame and Distinguished Alumni Banquet. The event will take place Friday, October 4 in the Kessler's Champions Club Room in the Barnett Center. The evening kicks off with a social at 5 p.m., followed at 5:30 p.m. by the dinner and program. Big Sioux River rescue pig has died
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The runaway pig that captured the hearts of the internet after he was saved from the Big Sioux River has been put down. The piglet, named Eric Jr. by the Falls Park staff, was taken in by Happy Pig Haven Sanctuary on Saturday. The sanctuary had been posting updates on Eric Jr. progress, but let people know on Tuesday that he had to be put down due to health complications.
