Fleshman appointed to George Mason University faculty
George Mason University (GMU) has appointed Taylor Ann Fleshman to its faculty beginning in the fall of 2024. “I’m really excited to grow and mentor the harp department at GMU!” she says. “Each student brings something unique to their musical journey. By encouraging a well-rounded education that spans different musical genres, ensembles, and practice techniques, they’ll develop into versatile musicians ready for today’s multifaceted musical landscape.” As a clinician, Fleshman has given masterclasses at the University of Cincinnati, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and was guest faculty at the 2023 American Harp Academy.
