Volleyball Earns AVCA Team Academic Award
WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team was recognized with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT, as announced by the governing body on Wednesday. "I'm proud of our teams' academic efforts this past year," Head Coach AJ Bonetti said. Georgetown Athletics continues to set high standards both academically and athletically. Every one of our student-athletes at Georgetown puts themselves in a position to be successful and I'm glad that volleyball specifically was able to showcase its academic prowess this year. Suspects make off with over $11K worth of stolen Lululemon items
WASHINGTON — DC Police are searching for a man who was caught on camera while he allegedly helped steal more than $11,000 in goods from a Lululemon store in Northwest. On Tuesday, just after 4 p.m., investigators say two suspects walked into a store on F Street in Northwest. They reportedly took items, without paying, and walked out of the store.
The Fresh Market expands locations in Washington, D.C.
The Fresh Market, Inc., a specialty fresh food retailer, is making strides in its expansion plan with two new locations entering the metro Washington, D.C., market. Earlier this month, the Greensboro-based retailer committed to anchor two upscale mix-used developments in Virginia: Reston Station in Reston, Va., and West Falls in Falls Church, Va. These locations will join two other existing stores in the metro D.C. area, and both new stores are expected to open within the next three years.

A Philadelphia chef is serving some of his dishes with an Israeli twist at a new, very exclusive space in D.C.: the newest Centurion Lounge at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The nearly 12,000-square-feet American Express airport lounge will feature a menu created by James Beard Award winner Michael Solomonov, along with renowned chefs Michelle Bernstein and Ravi Kupar. Solomonov is known for his award-winning Zahav restaurant and several other restaurants in Philadelphia and New York City, including Goldie, K’Far, and Laser Wolf.

So far, ANC 3F incumbents Teri Huet (ANC 3F02), Mitch Baer (3F03), and Courtney Carlson (chair, 3F06) have told Forest Hills Connection they are running for another two-year term.
