Philly Chef Michael Solomonov Brings Israeli Dishes to New DCA Airport Lounge
A Philadelphia chef is serving some of his dishes with an Israeli twist at a new, very exclusive space in D.C.: the newest Centurion Lounge at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The nearly 12,000-square-feet American Express airport lounge will feature a menu created by James Beard Award winner Michael Solomonov, along with renowned chefs Michelle Bernstein and Ravi Kupar. Solomonov is known for his award-winning Zahav restaurant and several other restaurants in Philadelphia and New York City, including Goldie, K’Far, and Laser Wolf.

It’s not too late to run for the advisory neighborhood commission serving Van Ness, Forest Hills, and parts of North Cleveland Park and Chevy Chase. So far, ANC 3F incumbents Teri Huet (ANC 3F02), Mitch Baer (3F03), and Courtney Carlson (chair, 3F06) have told Forest Hills Connection they are running for another two-year term. WASHINGTON — It's been a historic year for Capitol Hill Little League. All three teams (12U, 11U and 10U) won their respective divisions and are DC champs. Now, Capitol Hill Little League is trying to represent the District at the Little League World Series. The younger teams are heading to Massachusetts and Rhode Island to play in regional tournaments, while the 12U team goes to Bristol, Connecticut.
