Horse Gulch fire listed at 15,167 acres, 80% contained Sunday
The Horse Gulch fire northeast of Helena was listed early Sunday at 15,167 acres and 80% contained. The human-caused fire has been burning since July 9, and was first reported about 5 miles south of York and 2 miles north of Canyon Ferry. It is burning in Broadwater and Lewis and Clark counties.
