Boston College was unable to match the energy and quickly fell behind 28-0 at halftime. Virginia Tech went on to win by 21. O’Brien was obviously frustrated with the result. As were his players. Even though they had every reason not to care about what they left behind, the Eagles made sure to treat the visitor’s locker room as if it was their own. All of the trash was thrown away. Every single chair was returned to its respective locker. Nothing was out of place. Honestly, based on both the score and the condition of the locker room, you would never know they were there. The Hokies were verey impressed by the state of their locker room after the game.
