BROCKTON — Farmers markets give residents a chance to buy freshly picked fruits and vegetables bursting with flavor. And they give area farmers a chance to sell their produce directly to the public.

    But it doesn't stop there.

Brockton-area farmers markets often sell a lot more than just locally grown produce. At some markets, you can find meat and dairy products, baked goods, handmade crafts and prepared foods. Other markets offer live music, cooking demonstrations, children's activities and food trucks.

The Brockton Farmers Market, which has a new location this year, even features visits from baby goats.

Here are some Brockton-area farmers markets offering a variety of brightly-colored, freshly picked produce and a whole lot more.
