BROCKTON — An SUV crashed into a Dunkin' store in Brockton on Thursday morning, Brockton Fire Chief Brian Nardelli said.
The incident occurred at about 9 a.m. at the Dunkin' located at 784 Belmont St.
"She was parking, and her foot slipped off of the break. She went right through the bollards and struck the building," Nardelli said.
The SUV hit the glass and knocked it out of place, but, according to Nardelli, the crash did not create any structural damage to the building.
"They were able to clean up, block it up and reopen," he said.
There were no injuries to the driver or anyone in the store, and the driver was completely coherent, Nardelli said.
The incident was not the first time a vehicle crashed into a building in Brockton this year.
Just last month, a car crashed into a Brockton home , sending the car's two occupants to the hospital. In April, a car crashed into a Brockton liquor store , causing severe damage to the building. In February, an intoxicated driver plowed into the front of another Brockton house , causing significant damage to the front of the home.
