Farm Team: Wood County 4-H and FFA Summer Showcase taking place throughout week
MINERAL WELLS — The Wood County 4-H and FFA Summer Showcase will be held from today through Saturday at the Wood County 4-H Camp on Butcher Bend Road in Mineral Wells. The Wood County 4-H and FFA Summer Showcase is open to the public today through Friday from 3-9 p.m. and Saturday will feature the Junior Livestock Sale at 12 p.m. and a concert at 7 p.m. by Sour Mash String Band. Public ice skating rink in the works at Mylan Park
MORGANTOWN W.Va – A public ice rink is set to open in late 2025 at Mylan Park, according to Mylan Park Foundation President Ron Justice. The arena’s exact design is still in the early stages, but Justice said the rink will most likely include one sheet of ice with locker rooms and seating, as well as a skate rental shop. West Virginia man reported missing in Summersville Lake area
SUMMERSVILLE, WV (WOWK) – A West Virginia man has been reported missing in the Summersville Lake area. West Virginia State Police and the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources officers are searching for a 44-year-old man from the Morgantown area, according to Lieutenant Mike Coberly with WV DNR.
