WHERE'S MELANIE? Bronx girl, 12, missing for days

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police continued to search Wednesday for a 12-year-old girl who went missing in the Bronx over the weekend.

Melanie McBurnie, of the Bronx, was last seen leaving her home on Tudor Place in the Concourse section at around 12 p.m. on Sunday.

McBurnie was described as having a medium complexion, black hair, standing approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, with long braids, and weighing 90 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a black sweatsuit with “Barbie” pants, a silver puffer vest, and black and white Converse.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
