Aaron Judge’s Personal Coach Fires Savage Shot At Yankees

The New York Yankees have struggled a ton lately. They have lost three games in a row, eight of the last 10, and 13 of the last 18 as they have fallen to second place in the American League East.

Aaron Judge, however, has been off the charts with a .318 batting average, 32 home runs, and 83 RBI.

During Thursday's game against the Cincinnati Reds, the broadcast showed a stat that compared the difference between the wins and losses with Judge's splits in them.

Judge's personal hitting coach, Richard Schenck, fired a shot at the Yankees developmental program on X.

"They’ve lost 13 out of 18 while he’s hitting like an MVP. The Yankees offensive player development is terrible."

He actually has a point. Judge has been hitting the cover off of the baseball. He has 15 hits, four home runs, and 13 RBIs in his last 10 games while the team has been struggling.

Judge is also well on his way to an AL MVP award if he continues to hit like this. So, the stat is a bit misleading, and Judge's coach clearly isn't happy with the Yankees.

Fans seemed to side with Judge's coach as well.

The Yankees now come off a three-game sweep of the Reds and face the Boston Red Sox for a three-game set starting on Friday. Except for Juan Soto and Aaron Judge, the Yankees lineup has been disappointing. Something needs to change.
