Missing Bronx girl, 16, and daughter, 1, found safe in Texas: sources

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A 16-year-old girl and her 1-year-old daughter who were reported missing i n the Bronx last month were recently found in Texas, according to law enforcement sources.

The teen mom and baby girl were last seen leaving their home on Bronx Boulevard around 7:30 p.m. on June 25, police said. They were reported missing to authorities on June 28, police said.

The teen and the child were both safe, sources said Monday. It was unclear why the mom and daughter went to Texas.
