Belmont residents say they are angry and speaking out against the living conditions inside their apartment building. On Wednesday, they took their voices outside their 16-story building at 480 East 188th St. to plead for landlord accountability. Last year, the Legal Aid Society helped residents file a suit against Fordham Fulton Realty Corp. It says the owners have not complied. "They don't show up. Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't. They are asking the judge for more and more time," said lawyer Zoe Kheyman. News 12 also reached out to Fordham Fulton Realty Corp and it ended the call without a response. "We're supposed to have security, we're supposed to have management. We have no one,' said tenant Ahshaki Long. Nearly 147 of over 500 violations reported by the city are considered immediately hazardous and should be fixed within 24 hours. "
