    Service resumes after person struck by train in the Bronx: MTA

    FORDHAM HEIGHTS, The Bronx (PIX11) — Subway service has returned on the B line after a person was struck by a subway train in the Bronx Thursday morning, according to the MTA.

    The incident occurred around 8:52 a.m. near Fordham Road, according to the NYPD.

    Police say a male was located with head trauma and was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition. No criminality is suspected, according to the NYPD.

    B train service was suspended in both directions. Service resumed with delays at around 2 p.m.

    The B trains will not run between Kings Highway and Brighton Beach until 3 p.m. Thursday, according to the MTA.
