Man found dead with gunshot wounds to his head inside RV in the Bronx: sources

CROTONA PARK, The Bronx (PIX11) – A man was found dead inside an RV in the Bronx on Monday, sources told PIX11 News.

Ramon Martinez, 39, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his head in the camper parked near Mohegan Avenue and East 176th Street in Crotona Park around 8 p.m., according to the NYPD. Martinez was living in the RV, which was down the block from his official address on East 175th Street, sources said.

It’s the second deadly shooting in the area in a week. Idriss Cherif-Elfarissy, 28, was found with a gunshot wound to his head on Tuesday near Mohegan Avenue and East 176th Street, per police.

Cherif-Elfarissy was pronounced dead at the scene. He lived 100 feet away from where he was killed, according to authorities.

The shootings are not believed to be related, per police.
