Charged: Frank A. Stewart Jr., 55, 75 Windy Hill Road, Wellsburg, grand larceny, Monday. Turn off: Dillonvale water crews wanted deputies to make a woman move her car so they could shut off her service, Tuesday. Employees said the resident had paid her bill that day “but should have paid it yesterday” so they’d sent the shut off crew out to turn her water off but she went home and parked over the shut-off valve. Deputies told the clerk they “could not have a vehicle towed which was parked on private property without a court order.” The woman said she’d consult village administrators and the solicitor “to determine how to proceed.”

Follansbee, WV — According to the Brooke County Sheriff's Department, at around 1:58 am the Brooke County Dispatch responded to a call at pub Mustang Sally's in Follansbee. Officials says they arrived on scene to find three individuals with stab wounds, leaving one dead and two injured. This is currently under investigation.
