Utica man arrested in Hannaford Plaza larceny
UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — A larceny at the Hannaford Plaza on Mohawk Street on Friday has left one person in jail and one officer injured, according to Utica Police. Officers were called to the Hannaford Plaza at approximately 5:30 pm on Friday, August 24 regarding an individual who had just committed larceny at one of the stores. The suspect — 38-year-old Kevin Robinson of Utica — was also reported to have an outstanding warrant at the time.
Apple Juice Warning for Otsego County, New York and Beyond
In August 2024, Walmart issued a recall of its Great Value brand apple juice due to elevated levels of arsenic, a toxic substance that can pose serious health risks when consumed in large quantities. The recall involved six packs of 8 ounce apple juice bottles sold across Walmart stores nationwide. Almost 10,000 cases have been recalled. The issue was identified during routine quality testing, which revealed that certain batches of the juice contained arsenic levels exceeding the limits established by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
