EerSports was the first site to take a closer look at this, running this piece for years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years. (Yes, you can click each of those links for the older stories to see some of the previous big movers). And now it's time for the 2024 version. Keep in mind a few rules - these are the heights and weights listed on the official WVU Football roster as of this morning, Monday, July 29th (although we may run this a day or two later). For the comparison, the Wayback Machine is no longer pulling from the official roster page, but WVU does separate out their rosters for each season. So, we'll go with what it said in 2023 compared to now. At the end, we'll compare to recruiting profiles and previous stops for the new guys.

West Virginia in a different place with the WR room
West Virginia finds itself in a much different position than this time last year in the wide receiver room. Heading into the 2023 winter conditioning, the Mountaineers were losing 85-percent of the total catches, 87-percent of the yards and 89-percent of the scores at the position with a new wide receivers coach in Bilal Marshall hired as well. In total, West Virginia returned just 32 catches for 312 yards and 2 scores from the previous year leaving a lot of room for others to emerge.

Big Man One-on-Ones from WVU's final one day camp
West Virginia University held their final one-day camp of the summer on Thursday, with just over one hundred prospects making their way to Morgantown to take part in the event. Among them were a couple dozen offensive and defensive linemen, several of which were receiving serious interest from the Mountaineers.
