WVU Defensive Starters as Recruits
West Virginia is just a few days away from fall camp and a little over a month away from week one of the 2024 season. Head coach Neal Brown and staff have assembled a roster that will look to compete in this new era of college football and the Big 12. Some players have been added through the transfer portal, while WVU has recruited most of them out of high school. Streak of storm chances start today
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Hopefully everyone enjoyed the ample sunshine across the Mid-Ohio Valley this weekend. Despite dealing the low 90s for both days, at least it was not humid. Now, as we start a new week, we will say goodbye to the sunshine and must bring back the muggy air. It is going to feel like a bit of a long week as we will be looking at the chance of showers and storms throughout the week. However, we do need more rain here in the Mid-Ohio Valley and throughout West Virginia as drought conditions persist.
Rain showers, thunderstorms expected to continue throughout majority of week
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Good Morning NCWV! Starting off the work week we are getting some much needed rainfall and storms throughout the majority of today, seeing about a half inch of rainfall, amounts are expected to be higher within storms. These rain showers and storms will become widespread across the area around 9-10AM today. Highs today will be a bit below average today, only getting into the low 80s in the lowlands and the mid 70s in the higher elevations.

Rite Aid closes more stores following bankruptcy

Big Man One-on-Ones from WVU's final one day camp
West Virginia University held their final one-day camp of the summer on Thursday, with just over one hundred prospects making their way to Morgantown to take part in the event.
