Downtown Nutrition of Paragould is holding an art show on Saturday, July 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. Artists can submit art of any form including paintings, drawings, or sculptures. However, all art pieces must showcase Paragould in some way.

One More Day of Heat Wave
The heat wave will last one more day before we get a break in the high temperatures. A heat advisory will be in effect for southeast Kansas, most of Oklahoma, southern Missouri and all of Arkansas today. The advisories start between 11 and 1 p.m. and will last until 8 p.m. Coffeyville is expected to see a high of 99 with a heat index up to 109 today.

$20.6M foreclosure hits four Arkansas apartment complexes
WASHINGTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — Four apartment complexes in Pulaski, Sebastian and Washington counties were recently hit with a $20.6 million foreclosure judgment. PF Terrace Green LLC, known as the Terrace Green Apartments, at 8223 Scott Hamilton Drive, Little Rock. It was built in 1971 and has 100 units and two stories.

City approves multimillion-dollar loan for upgrades and road projects
PARAGOULD, Ark. (KAIT) - The city of Paragould is making a multi-million-dollar investment for its city. The city approved to borrow over $6 million in its last council meeting. Mayor Josh Agee said the loan was an Amendment 78 loan. He said despite the city having money in its reserve, it would save money by borrowing it.
Church food pantry trying build new distribution building
HOXIE, Ark. (KAIT) - The food pantry at First Baptist Church in Hoxie is in desperate need of a new distribution building. The food pantry has been going on for many years and has grown significantly. In the last few years it has gone from serving about 120 families to about 250 to 300, and in some instances, nearly 500 families.
