Greeley Park June 22: Building community, one blaster tag battle at a time
NASHUA, NH – The Blaster Alliance of New England’s upcoming monthly blaster tag battle is on June 22 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Greeley Park Disc Golf course on Manchester Street in Nashua. The event is open to people ages 12 & up, at a cost of $10. Eye protection is required. Bring your own foam dart blasters if you have them. All equipment will be checked for safety compliance. Man airlifted to Boston hospital after fiery moped crash in Lowell
A crash between a moped and a car on Merrimack Street in Lowell left a man severely injured around 2 p.m. on June 10., according to the Lowell Police Department. By the time Lowell officers arrived, smoke was coming from the moped in the middle of the street and the moped driver had severe burns. Fire causes extensive damage to garage units on Roedean Drive
NASHUA, NH – An early-morning fire was reported at 5 Roedean Drive. Nashua fire companies responded and quickly extinguished the blaze, which left two connected garage units heavily damaged. Prior to 1775, the history of humanity could be described as the story of masters and slaves. Starting in 1776 however, some historians believe a radical revolutionary period, championing human liberty, swept through both America and Europe for close to a century. This period ultimately changed human consciousness in Western civilization. The capstone of this period was the American Civil War. One of it fruits was the destruction of American chattel slavery, commemorated now by the “Juneteenth Holiday”.
