Town Employee Injured Following Late Saturday-Afternoon Collision in Seabrook
A local town employee is hospitalized after a passenger vehicle collided with a UTV late Saturday afternoon in Seabrook. City officials say 33-year-old Georgia Gynan was headed south on Ocean Boulevard shortly before 4:30 p.m. when she blew through the intersection at Hooksett Street and smashed into the smaller vehicle, which rolled and ejected its operator.
No Injuries as Bonfire Sparks Overnight Fire at Hampton Beach
No injuries are reported following Saturday’s pre-dawn fire on some dunes at Hampton Beach. Local fire officials say they got the call around 3 a.m. about a bonfire. Responding firefighters reportedly arrived at the scene a short time later to find that the flames had spread to area marsh grasses, potentially threatening the nests of endangered Piping Plovers.
