    Spring sports schedule openers across the metro

    Spring season is on the horizon across the metro. Teams from Brooklyn Center, Champlin Park, Park Center, Maranatha Academy, Breck, Robbinsdale Armstrong and Robbinsdale Cooper are set to begin their seasons soon as long as the weather cooperates.

    Brooklyn Center

    Brooklyn Center baseball will return to the diamond this season on Tuesday, April 9, hosting St. Croix Lutheran. The tea remains home the next day, hosting Como Park on April 12.

    Centaurs softball begins their season on Monday, April 8, traveling to play Minneapolis Edison at Jackson Square Park. They host Como Park on Friday, April 12.

    Centaurs boys tennis will play their first conference match on April 17, traveling to face Kennedy.

    Brooklyn Center boys volleyball kicks off its first MSHSL emerging sport season with two games, hosting Osseo on Tuesday, April 16 and traveling to Washington Tech on Wednesday, April 17.

    Champlin Park

    Champlin Park baseball starts its schedule on Tuesday, April 2, traveling to Armstrong, before hosting Rogers on April 4.

    Rebels softball begins their season on Tuesday, April 2, traveling to Armstrong, before hosting Rogers on April 4.

    Champlin Park boys tennis begins its season on April 4, hosting Armstrong.

    Champlin Park boys volleyball will play its first game of the season on Tuesday, April 16, hosting Elk River, before traveling to Minnetonka on April 18.

    Park Center

    The Park Center/Columbia Heights baseball co-op will begin its season with an away game against Kennedy on Friday, April. 12.

    The Osseo softball team, in co-op with Park Center, will step up to the plate on April 2, hosting Centennial at Osseo Senior High School. They’re on the road against Elk River two days later on April 4.

    Park Center boys tennis opens their season with three consecutive days of matches, playing Armstrong, Johnson, and Champlin Park on April 9, 10, and 11 respectively.

    Park Center boys volleyball will start the season on Wednesday, April 10 and Friday, April 12, facing Hmong College Prep and Prairie Seeds Academy.

    Maranatha Academy

    Maranatha softball will start its season on Wednesday, April 10, hosting St. Croix Prep. They play Hutchinson the next day, before traveling to play Concordia Academy on April 12.

    Breck

    Breck baseball begins a busy season with two late-week games, hosting Holy Family and Holy Angels on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13, respectively.

    Breck softball starts the season on the road, facing Concordia Academy on Tuesday, April 9.

    Breck boys tennis begins play on April 9, hosting Centennial. They then travel to Minnehaha Academy and Edina on April 11 and 12 respectively.

    Breck boys volleyball will begin play on April 9, traveling to New Prague before hosting Armstrong on April 11.

    Robbinsdale Armstrong

    Armstrong baseball will return to the diamond on April 2, hosting Champlin Park and facing Spring Lake Park on the road on April 4.

    Armstrong softball begins play on Tuesday, April 2, hosting Champlin Park, before traveling to Spring Lake Park on April 4.

    Armstrong boys tennis begins varsity play on April 2, traveling to Osseo, before facing Champlin Park on the road on April 4.

    Armstrong boys volleyball will begin play on Thursday, April 11, traveling to Breck.

    Robbinsdale Cooper

    Cooper baseball begins play on Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9, hosting Edison and Como Park respectively.

    Hawks softball starts the season on the road on Tuesday, April 16, traveling to DeLaSalle, before hosting St. Anthony on April 18.

    Cooper boys tennis plays its first varsity match on April 11, traveling to DeLaSalle.

    Cooper boys volleyball begins their season on Tuesday, April 16, traveling to Coon Rapids before hosting Centennial on April 19.
