    Irish Hills Chamber: You could be part of a Polynesian Luau this Saturday, July 20

    The Deck Down Under is featuring a Polynesian Luau with Ian Stewart from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 20. Enjoy a night filled with island vibes, delicious fare and enchanting melodies. This event includes a Polynesian-inspired menu and signature tropical cocktails. Reservations can be made on their website at thedeckdownunder.com/reservations.

    Walker Tavern Historic Site/Cambridge Historic State Park is holding quilt workshop from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 25. The cost is $40 for all supplies with a lunch/snack included.     Cherry Creek Cellars will host Vineyard Jams, their Friday and Saturday night music series, through the summer months from 7 to 10 p.m. Enjoy some of the best bands in the area from rock-n-roll to blues and country and pop.     Sandbar Café, Coffee & Creamery is holding their Cruise-In Car Show from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 18. Enjoy friends, music, cornhole and cards. This event takes place every other Thursday through September. Go to sandbarcafe.cafe for more information.

    There will be a 5K Color Run/Walk held at the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 27. This run/walk is being held to support the Brookes family’s 5-year-old daughter, Kensi, on her journey to fight cancer. Find more information at #KensiStrong.

    St. Mark’s Lutheran Church hosts a Diaper Closet the third Saturday of each month. The next one is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 20. There is no residency requirement or income verification, just a need. For those new, organizers just need your name, city, children’s ages and how you heard about the closet.

    The Southern Michigan Food Bank and Springville United Methodist Church’s next fresh food distribution date is coming up on July 25 starting promptly at 3 p.m. in the church parking lot until the food boxes are gone.
