NYPD: 4 dead in Bensonhurst after brutal domestic attack

Four family members, including two small children, are dead after a gruesome attack in a Brooklyn apartment, according to the NYPD.

Police said they responded to a 911 call Friday night about an assault in the apartment on West 8th Street in Bensonhurst. When they arrived just after 10 p.m., they found two small children and their mother and grandmother dead, with at least one victim having suffered multiple stab wounds.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man, but have not released his name.

Tne NYPD identified the adult victims as Fayzieva Mavlyuda, 56, and Maftuna Khakimova, 27.

Kamila Shavkatova, 5, and Timur Shavkatov, 4, were also found dead, officials said.

All of the victims shared the same apartment in the building on West 8th Street near Avenue P.
