All eyes are on Paris for the Olympics — and on New York’s homegrown basketball superstar Breanna “Stewie” Stewart, the North Syracuse, NY, native and New York Liberty power forward who is favored to bring home the gold.
Stewart, who is co-leading a basketball A-team with A’ja Wilson, was also recently spotted at Front & York, a luxury Brooklyn condo designed by Morris Adjmi in the heart of Dumbo, at 115 York St., not far from her home court at Barclays Center.
At the luxury building, the WNBA power forward shot a social media video with Togethxr. That’s the female sports brand best known for its “Everyone Watches Women’s Sports” T-shirts that went viral during this year’s NCAA tournament, worn by Jason Sudeikis, Chelsea Handler and basketball coach Dawn Staley.
Stewart shot hoops in the building’s full-size indoor basketball court and then filmed inside a model unit — one similar to this ninth-floor, three-bedroom, 2½-bath unit that asks $2.78 million.
The family-sized residence could be a good fit for Stewart and her spouse Marta Xargay, an Olympic silver medalist from Spain, and their two young children, Ruby and Theo.
Building amenities are also a draw. They include a three-story gym with a basketball court, a pool with lap lanes, saunas, steam and treatment rooms and a juice bar. There’s also a coffee lounge, a co-working lounge, a children’s playroom/music room and a game room.
Residents also have their own wine lockers stored in the wine tasting room with a chef’s tasting table, along with a bar and billiards lounge, an outdoor cinema, and an indoor screening room and lounge.
Outside amenities include an outdoor fireplace, a barbecue deck, a garden lounge and a summer kitchen.
Landscape designer Michael Van Valkenburgh also created a 25,000-square-foot park.
