NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Wednesday released surveillance footage of two suspects sought in a carjacking robbery that occurred in Crown Heights earlier this month.

A 19-year-old man was sitting inside of his car at the northwest corner of Carroll Street and Kingston Avenue with a 22-year-old man at about 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, when the two suspects approached them and pulled them from the vehicle, officials said.

The two suspects then fled in the 19-year-old man’s car.

There were no injuries reported and the vehicle was later recovered.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and white sweatpants.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark sweatpants and black sneakers.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
