Boys volleyball season may have wrapped up for most local schools, but a number of local high school players were named to all-conference teams last week after impressive performances in 2024.

    North Conference

Park Center’s Koua Chang (outside hitter) and Titus Lee (setter) were named to the all-North Conference team, with fellow Pirate Alan Intanavong (middle blocker) listed as an honorable mention. Park Center finished the season with a 12-8-2 overall record and reached the first round of the playoffs.

Champlin Park’s Titus Yang (setter) was also named to the North Conference team, while teammate Anthony Phothirath (outside hitter) was listed as an honorable mention. The Rebels earned a 7-13 record this season.

    Northwest Conference

Three players from Brooklyn Park-based charter school Prairie Seeds Academy went all-conference, including Meng Yang (outside hitter), Sean Yang (middle blocker), and Tydus Xiong (setter). Prairie Seeds ended the season with an 8-6 overall record and reached the first round of the playoffs.

Armstrong was represented by Bennett Higgins (outsider hitter). The senior was joined by Adaunus Rich (outside hitter) as an honorable mention. The Falcons went 10-8-1 this season.

Cooper also had one player in the Northwest Conference team. Chase Chang (outside hitter) represented the Hawks and was joined by honorable mention Tyler Thao (defensive specialist).
