Blue Line Extension announces anticipated travel times

METRO Transit has released travel time estimates for using the corridor of the proposed Blue Line Light Rail Extension.

Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Blvd. Station to MSP airport (Terminal 1)

Blue Line: 58 Minutes

Car (non-rush hour): 39 minutes

Car (rush hour): 50 minutes

Downtown Robbinsdale to MSP airport (Terminal 1)

Blue Line: 45 minutes

Car (non-rush hour): 23-29 minutes

Car (rush hour): 26-45 minutes

Crystal, Bass Lake Road Station to U of M East Bank

Blue Line: 37 minutes

Car (non-rush hour): 22 minutes

Car (rush hour): 24 minutes

Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Boulevard Station (Brooklyn Blvd. & W. Broadway) to Target Field

Blue Line: 32 minutes

Car (non-rush hour): 17 minutes

Car (rush hour): 20 minutes

Penn Ave. West & Broadway Station (North Minneapolis to North Hennepin Community College)

Blue Line: 20 minutes

The city of Robbinsdale is expected to consider municipal consent later this year, though the item has not yet been placed on an agenda.
