Ashby man sentenced to house arrest for his role in a fatal OTC crash
ASHBY, Minn. (Valley News Live) - Colton Lindquist of Ashby, MN was sentenced Monday afternoon to serve 90 days in the Otter Tail County Jail, for his role in a 2023 fatal crash. Court documentation says 60 of those days will be probation, the remaining days will be served on house arrest.

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Patients at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo are now able to receive assistance in the form of man’s best friend. Fox, a one-year-old golden retriever, is the region’s first-ever facility dog. Sanford Health says a facility dog is different than a therapy dog because it works in a health care setting to provide comfort and is educated to assist with patient care, whereas a therapy dog is a personal pet that has been certified to visit the hospital and provide comfort and joy to patients and families.

Austin, MN (KROC-AM News)- A detour associated with one of two massive projects along I-90 in southeast Minnesota is set to begin this week. MnDOT is overseeing a pair of transformative projects that began this year along the interstate.
