Camden Garden Club Works Together to Beautify Camden
Camden Garden Club is planting all over town. Don’t miss the Traffic Island, filled this week with New Guinea Impatiens and Petunias in shades of white to cerise. The Club has expanded its public spaces to 13 gardens in the village. Be on the lookout for beautiful spaces like the Mural Garden on Mechanic Street and the recently planted Lamppost baskets on Main Street. This is only the beginning of the season. Debate heating up over the site of Maine's future wind port
The debate over where the state of Maine should site a Midcoast port facility to serve a floating offshore wind project is expected to ramp up this summer. Maine officials are preparing permit applications for a wind port on Sears Island. But Sprague Energy, which owns the nearby Mack Point terminal in Searsport, is making its own major push.
