New Book With Former Salem Resident Tanya Coats Konerman
I recently had the opportunity to interview an author from Salem. Her name is Tanya Coats Konerman, and she graduated from Salem High School in 1985. Konerman lived in Salem until she went to college at Indiana University and stayed there. She has a double major in Journalism and Psychology, with a focus on childhood development. Her home now is in Bloomington where she lives with her husband, who is an electrical engineer for Crane Naval Base. The couple have three daughters.

'Victory Bell' rivalry between UC, Miami will end after 2026 meeting
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The oldest annual non-conference rivalry in college football, the Battle for the Victory Bell, will soon end. The University of Cincinnati and Miami University football teams have both canceled previously scheduled games against each other in 2025, 2027, 2028, and 2029. Five golfers place in Top 10 at Indiana Women’s Golf Association State Amateur Championship
Five Hamilton County golfers reached the top 10 of the Indiana Women’s Golf Association State Amateur Championship, which took place this week at The Players Club in Muncie.
