Barbers take to the school gym to offer free haircuts ahead of school year in Riverside
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) -- The owner of a barber shop wanted to give back to the community where he was raised so he organized free haircuts ahead of the school year. Dylan Huddleson, owner of 937 Barber Shop, said he graduated from Stebbins High School and he wanted to do something for the community. He began working with the Mad River Local School District and the Mad River Lions Club to offer free haircuts.
Ohio teen missing for a year
DAYTON — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing 17-year-old, David Rowland. Rowland was 16 when he went missing from Dayton on Aug. 1, 2023. Authorities believe that he may still be in the local area. David is described as 5’5”, weighed 106 lbs. when he was last seen, and has blue eyes with brown hair.

You can see them mentioned in this really cool news report from WDTN. The channel sent local broadcast legend Barbara Kerr to interview staffers from the also legendary (and now defunct) local music store Dingleberry’s, which was opened by Greg Savage in Dayton in 1974. Showers are coming to an end, and the chances will end right around midnight. Lows overnight will drop into the lowers 60s with mostly cloudy skies. The high to begin the work week will be in the mid to upper 70s, well below normal with partly cloudy skies, and reduced humidity. Tuesday will be the coolest day of the week with a high of 74 in Dayton. Temperatures will remain in the 70s on Wednesday before a warming trend begins on Thursday when we get back to 80 degrees. Highs through the weekend will potentially get into the 90s. Rain chances are pretty low over the next 7 days.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Highs tomorrow will top out in the upper 60s for much of the area. The National Weather Service’s forecast for Tuesday calls for light-to-moderate breezes during the day and highs topping out around 68. Winds will calm a bit later in the evening with overnight lows dipping into the 50s. Wednesday will see more sunshine and highs in the low 70s.
