Former Ohio State QB, Cincinnati radio host indicted on felony drug charges
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKRC) - A former Ohio State quarterback was indicted on felony drug charges Friday. According to Cleveland.com,64-year-old Art Schlichter, who has long struggled with drug and gambling addictions since the late '70s, was indicted on felony drug charges. Citing records from the Franklin County Common Pleas Court, the outlet reported that Schlichter was indicted on a fifth-degree felony charge of possession of drugs.

Barbers take to the school gym to offer free haircuts ahead of school year in Riverside
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) -- The owner of a barber shop wanted to give back to the community where he was raised so he organized free haircuts ahead of the school year. Dylan Huddleson, owner of 937 Barber Shop, said he graduated from Stebbins High School and he wanted to do something for the community. He began working with the Mad River Local School District and the Mad River Lions Club to offer free haircuts.
Ohio teen missing for a year
DAYTON — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing 17-year-old, David Rowland. Rowland was 16 when he went missing from Dayton on Aug. 1, 2023. Authorities believe that he may still be in the local area. David is described as 5’5”, weighed 106 lbs. when he was last seen, and has blue eyes with brown hair.

Showers are coming to an end, and the chances will end right around midnight. Lows overnight will drop into the lowers 60s with mostly cloudy skies. The high to begin the work week will be in the mid to upper 70s, well below normal with partly cloudy skies, and reduced humidity. Tuesday will be the coolest day of the week with a high of 74 in Dayton. Temperatures will remain in the 70s on Wednesday before a warming trend begins on Thursday when we get back to 80 degrees. Highs through the weekend will potentially get into the 90s. Rain chances are pretty low over the next 7 days.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Highs tomorrow will top out in the upper 60s for much of the area. The National Weather Service’s forecast for Tuesday calls for light-to-moderate breezes during the day and highs topping out around 68. Winds will calm a bit later in the evening with overnight lows dipping into the 50s. Wednesday will see more sunshine and highs in the low 70s.

CHICAGO — The second-floor ballroom of the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel was packed Monday morning as all 175 members of the Ohio delegation kicked off the Democratic National Convention with enthusiasm to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris in November. “There’s a lot of energy, a lot of information, and this was really the beginning of our marching orders of what we need to do,” said state Sen. Paula Hicks-Hudson of Toledo. Elizabeth Walters, the Ohio Democratic Party’s chairman, said the path for Democrats relies on three steps: turning out the voting base in Ohio’s biggest counties, fighting in the suburban battleground counties, and getting votes in rural Ohio.
