July, August food drives planned in Van Wert
VAN WERT – OhioHealth Van Wert Hospital is teaming up with United Way of Van Wert County and the West Ohio Food Bank to hold a pair of food drives. The first event that will take place from noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 23 at Trinity Friends Church, 605 N. Franklin St., Van Wert. PUTNAM COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The Putnam County treasurer wants to remind property owners that their tax deadline is fast approaching. Taxes are due July 19th, and people can pay them at the treasurer's office in the courthouse, located at 245 E Main St #203, Ottawa, OH 45875, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Thursday or Friday. Or people can put their payment in a drop box in an alley off Hickory Street. If you are mailing your check, it needs to be postmarked by July 19th for it not to be considered late. And if you own a manufactured home, your final payment date is July 31st.
