Non-Profit Arts & Culture Organizations Eligible for up to $7,500 in Operational Support
LAFAYETTE, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) is again committing support to assist non-profit Arts & Culture organizations in Lafayette Parish with up to $7,500 in funding for operational support. Funded by LCG and administered by Acadiana Center for the Arts (AcA) the LCG External Agencies Arts and Culture grant application is open until 4pm on August 5, 2024.

Louisiana wins 4-H Shooting Sports national championship
Victoria McClung of Bossier City won the small-bore rifle category in the Louisiana 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships held June 23-28 in Grand Island, Neb. McClung helped the Louisiana 4-H Shooting Sports Team win its fourth championship in the last five years. That includes a second-place finish last year and the event being canceled due to COVID restrictions in 2020.
