Marysville man arrested in connection with meth possession in Brown County
RESERVE, Kan. (WIBW) - A man was arrested in connection with methamphetamine possession on Saturday night in northern Brown County, authorities said. The arrest was reported around 9 p.m. Saturday in the vicinity of 320th and Kestrel Road. The location was about 6 miles north of Hiawatha, or a mile and a half south of the Kansas-Nebraska state line.

Traffic stop leads to drug and warrant arrests
A Hiawatha man and Huron woman were arrested on U.S. Highway 73 on Monday evening, according to a report by Brown County Sheriff John Merchant. According to the report, a Brown County detective initiated a traffic stop at 11:10 p.m. in the vicinity of 210th on U.S. Highway 73 due to expired registration. After an investigation, it was found that driver Daniel Jennings, 50, of Hiawatha was suspended and that vehicle passenger Tara Hamilton, 37, of Huron “had an outstanding $500 C/S FTA Warrant out of Atchison.”
Sheriff: Kansas felon jailed after drug bust at home
BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon on new allegations after a drug bust at a Kansas home. Just before 8:30p.m. June 26, a search warrant was conducted by the Brown County Sheriffs Office Drug Task Force at 315 W. 12th Street in Horton, according to Sheriff John Merchant.
Suspicious vehicle report leads to arrest for possessing meth
A Marysville man was arrested for possessing meth after a suspicious vehicle report on Saturday, June 29, according to a report by Brown County Sheriff John Merchant. According to the report at approximately 9 p.m., both Sac and Fox Police Department and Brown County Sheriff’s Office “investigated a suspicious vehicle which was disabled in the vicinity of 320th and Kestrel Road.” K-9 Carla searched through the vehicle and after an investigation, Robert Hendricks, 64, of Marysville--the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle--was arrested “on charges of Possession of Meth, Felony Distribution of Meth, No Drug Tax Stamp, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.”
