Cleveland, OH. - Cleveland Ward One Lee and Harvard community saw approximately 100 or more 11 x 18 pink and white poster boards attached to utility poles this morning as people traveled to and from work. The shocking discovery was not the posters but the message the poster boards carried.

The caption is "NOTICE OF TERMINATION." Beneath this statement, it reads Harvard Gardens, Director of Human Resources. A black-and-white photo of a woman is also included. Beneath the photo, it says, "Call 216.752.3600 ext 7060. Tell Marietta Carmon You Are Fired."

As many motorists slowed down to read the signage, you saw them shaking their heads and some even laughing. A Facebook content writer, Tracie Strozier, asked, "So this is posted on the light poles on Harvard. Wow, you all mad at her? I want to know what she did or didn't do. I wonder who she made mad." While some commenters found the posters comical, others were disgusted by the behavior. "She should sue. They can't disclose that information for the public to know. This gesture doesn't seem right. This behavior is just plain ignorance right here. It doesn't make HER look bad; it makes the person who did it look silly and miserable."

After seeing the poster this morning at about 8:00 a.m., we did not know the circumstances behind the litter throughout the community. We called the Harvard Garden Rehabilitation Facility and Nursing Home to inform them of the posters on Harvard Ave and throughout the Cleveland Ward One Community. The receptionist directed us to the Administrator, Nick Gulich. We left a message requesting a return call.

At 3:45 p.m., we returned to the Lee Harvard Community, and most posters were taken down. "I saw that mess all over the street this morning. I could not believe it. That was not nice to do to her," said a crossing guard at the corner of Feiner and Harvard Ave.

When we attempted to follow up with Mr. Gulich again at 4:00 p.m., the operator stated that he was unavailable to comment. No one at the facility will verify whether Ms. Carmon is employed at the center.
