Crews continue work rebuilding Berry Creek Elementary School
BERRY CREEK, Calif. - Construction crews are making progress on rebuilding the Berry Creek Elementary School, which was destroyed in the 2020 Bear Fire. Now that the walls are up on the new buildings, crews are busy running wire through the five new classrooms and installing fire alarms inside of the buildings.
2 arrested in California for shooting, killing man in North Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - North Las Vegas police accuse two men for the shooting and killing a man back in October 2023. Police said the deadly shooting happened on Saturday, Oct. 27 around 1:30 a.m. in the 4200 block of East Craig Road. When officers arrived, they found two men in their 20s suffering from gunshot wounds.

Teen found fatally shot in Vallejo overnight in city's 12th homicide of the year
Police in Vallejo have launched a homicide investigation after a teen died following a shooting late Wednesday night.Around 11:30 p.m., officers were called to the 100 block of Carolina Street. When police arrived, they found a 16-year-old male suffering from at least one gunshot wound.Officers along with medical personnel provided medical aid, but the teen succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.Police have not released the victim's identity.
