LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville residents should be on the lookout for West Nile Virus in more Louisville locations. Even though no human cases have been reported, the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness said the virus is now being found in the Portland, Downtown Louisville, and Churchill Downs areas, or 40202, 40212 and 40215 zip codes, should take extra precautions against the virus. For safety measures, mosquito fogging took place earlier in the week to slow the insect population down.

St. Matthews Police Chief Barry Wilkerson said officers seized 90 pounds of methamphetamine as well as fentanyl and marijuana. Louisville Metro Police and Jeffersontown Police officers joined the effort to surveil several locations throughout the county, and the arrests were made "without incident."
