First Human Killed By a Robot in the World Happened in Michigan
Did you know the first human death caused by a robot on record happened in 1979 in Flat Rock, Michigan?. A small portion of our population has passionately argued that robots are a danger to the human race. Some have even said that robots will take over the planet. What happened on January 25th, 1979, to a 25-year-old assembly line worker at a Ford Motor plant probably fueled those beliefs. Robert Williams was the first human killed by a robot according to wired.com,
Abandoned Ponderosa in Dearborn Heights Will Bring Back Memories
Back in the 80s, going to Ponderosa with the family was a pretty big deal. It was the go-to spot for buffet-style dining in Michigan. Dad didn't mind breaking out his wallet on Ponderosa nights because he knew it was one meal that he could truly afford. I mean, you could get an entire dinner including steak, potatoes, veggies, a salad, fruit, and all-you-can-eat sundaes for just $3.99.
Your Childhood is Now an Exhibit at Michigan’s Henry Ford Museum
What did I ever do to you, Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation? Huh? I've been touring your halls and exhibits gleefully since my first elementary school field trip dropped us off at the front door in the '80s. I've gone on those same bus rides with my kids, watched them explore your trains, and marvel at machinery. Yet, despite my dedication, you, the Henry Ford Museum, decided that items from my childhood, which WASN'T THAT LONG AGO, are now OLD ENOUGH to be an actual exhibit.
Ohio State WR Brandon Inniss Immediately Got On College Football 25 And Beat Michigan 91-16 With 10 TDs For Himself
I gotta be honest I'm pretty torn here on how to approach this blog. On one hand I think it's super lame that Brandon Inniss just pulled the ultimate "If you can't beat them on the field, beat them in a video game" move. Michigan has not just beaten us but bullied us each of the last 3 years. So the idea that we can't do it in real life so we get off on beating their brains in on a video game is kinda embarrassing. Plus he was a 5-star player, #3 receiver, and #8 player overall coming out of high school….and he has 1 career catch. Don't get me wrong I'm still glad he's a Buckeye and I think he has a great career ahead of him, but I can't say I love him being the one to post this tweet when he's never even beaten Michigan.
