More earthquake activity Wednesday in West Texas
SCURRY COUNTY, Texas — More seismic activity was reported for the second time this week Wednesday in West Texas. Seven earthquakes, ranging from 2.5 to 4.0 on the Richter scale, happened in the same area reported Monday by the US Geological Survey. A 3.0 at around midnight Wednesday about 10.8 miles northeast of Hermleigh and 57.7 miles west-northwest of Abilene. The most intense quake, a 4.0 on the scale, happened at 9:57 p.m. Wednesday night, north/northeast of Hermleigh.

City Council of Coleman is asking for the public's input on the future plans for Coleman, both the council and the EDC Boards' future decisions may be affected. Non-violent drug offenders graduate from Lubbock Drug Court downtown
LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Several previous non-violent drug offenders in Lubbock are celebrating recovery tonight. Drug Court graduation was held downtown on Thursday afternoon. Drug Court is a program aimed to rehabilitate rather than send offenders to prison. Those charged with drug possession and classified as non-violent offenders qualify for the program.
