New restaurant The Depot Diner to open Zachary location, plans to offer daily lunch specials

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A new restaurant offering lunch and dinner seven days a week and breakfast on the weekends is planning to open in Zachary.

The Depot Diner is planning to open its newest location in Zachary within the next two weeks, according to a spokesperson with The Depot Diner

According to a spokesperson, the restaurant’s menu will consist of American homestyle food. The restaurant will also offer daily lunch specials.

The Depot Diner will have dine-in, outside seating, rooftop seating, take-out and delivery options, according to the spokesperson.

“We look forward to bringing a diverse atmosphere that offers inclusivity with family-friendly game nights and encourages togetherness,” said a spokesperson with The Depot Diner.

The restaurant will be located at the old Zachary Train Depot, 4434 West Central Avenue. The restaurant’s hours of operation haven’t been finalized, but a spokesperson with The Depot Diner stated they are leaning towards being open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
