    Furry Friends Friday: Meet Tank, a dog up for adoption

    BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — George Bragg of West Baton Rouge Parish Shelter and Animal Control introduced a beautiful dog named Tank.

    Tank is a loveable, friendly bully mix who is about 4-years-old. He loves and gets along with everyone. His adoption fee is $100. That includes getting neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

    West Baton Rouge Parish Shelter and Animal Control will have a low-cost vaccine clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 9 at 3183 Ted Denstel Road, Port Allen. Cash or check only. See the costs below.

    • Rabies vaccinations: $10
    • Rabies tag: $7
    • Microchips: $15
    • Canine heartworm tests: $15
    • Canine 5-n-1 booster: $8
    • Feline 3-n-1 booster: $8

    If you can’t adopt or foster an animal at this time, you can still volunteer to help at the shelter. If you can adopt, make sure you’re taking the right steps to give you and your new pet a happy relationship and a happy home.
