Kids, family can attend new music festival coming to Baton Rouge this fall
A new music and arts festival will be happening in Baton Rouge this fall. Metro Rouge is an annual, family-friendly music and arts festival. Ken Bloxson, the event executive producer, said the hope is for Metro Rouge to become the city's version of Jazz Fest. The first one-day festival is scheduled for September 21 at the Throw Dat Dirt ATV Park and is free to the public. Bloxson said attendees can be assured there will be no inappropriate acts, language or behavior.
