6-year-old killed during crash in Mississippi
PONTOTOC, Miss. (WTVA) – A 6-year-old died during a crash that happened in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. The crash occurred around 3:43 p.m. on Highway 278 on Friday. According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, an SUV drove off the highway and overturned, resulting in the death of the 6-year-old passenger.

Man arrested over early morning robbery in Starkville
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) – A 27-year-old Starkville man who was on earned release supervision has been arrested and charged with robbery.
